Cake Wallet

Creating a brand is a piece of cake.

 I led creative direction and design for Cake Wallet, a long-standing privacy-focused crypto wallet, trusted by the Monero community and beyond.

The objective was to modernize the product experience and visual identity without alienating its deeply loyal user base. We retained Cake’s independent, open-source spirit while evolving its UI, tightening the UX, and developing a refreshed brand system that felt cleaner, more confident, and easier to use.

Visually, the design embraced a layered aesthetic — a nod to transparency, depth, and the complexity behind privacy tech — while keeping the experience intuitive and accessible and a little more delightful.
